1.5KE18A ST Transient Voltage Suppressors (TVS)

The 1.5KE18A is a unidirectional TVS diode in a DO-201 package, sharing the same 1500W peak pulse power rating as its CA counterpart but protecting only one polarity. For selection, verify the reverse standoff voltage of 15.3V, breakdown voltage range of 17.1V to 18.9V, and maximum clamping voltage of 25.2V at peak pulse current . The unidirectional configuration provides lower clamping voltage in the forward direction (approximately 1V diode drop) while clamping reverse transients, offering more effective protection for DC circuits where polarity is fixed.
