The ACS108-6SA is an overvoltage protected AC switch (Triac) from STMicroelectronics in TO-92 through-hole package, featuring 600V repetitive peak off-state voltage and 0.8A RMS on-state current with overvoltage crowbar technology for surge protection. For selection, verify gate trigger current for logic-level drive, high noise immunity against static dV/dt, built-in overvoltage crowbar structure absorbing inductive turn-off energy, and operating temperature suitable for consumer applications.
