The ACST410-8BTR is an overvoltage protected AC switch from STMicroelectronics in DPAK surface-mount package, featuring 800V repetitive peak off-state voltage and 4A RMS on-state current with overvoltage crowbar technology for surge protection. For selection, verify gate trigger current for logic-level drive, high noise immunity against static dV/dt, built-in overvoltage crowbar structure absorbing inductive turn-off energy, and operating junction temperature from -40°C to +125°C. Features include gate level shifter for direct microcontroller interface, needs no external protection snubber or varistor, and ACS/ACST technology for ASD (Application Specific Discrete).
