The ADM3251EARWZ-REEL is a single-channel, isolated RS-232 transceiver with integrated isoPower DC-DC converter, providing 2.5 kV isolation and eliminating the need for an external isolated power supply. For selection, verify single 4.5 V to 5.5 V supply, data rate up to 460 kbps, and ESD protection of ±8 kV contact / ±15 kV air discharge on RIN and TOUT pins. The device features >25 kV/μs common-mode transient immunity, operates from -40°C to +85°C in a 20-pin SOIC package, and is compliant with EIA/TIA-232E standards.
