AM26LS31CDR TI Drivers, Receivers, Transceivers
The AM26LS31CDR is a quadruple differential line driver from Texas Instruments designed for balanced digital transmission. It meets the requirements of ANSI TIA/EIA-422-B and ITU V.11 standards and supports data rates up to 10 Mbps. The device features four independent drivers with 3-state outputs and operates from a single 5V supply. Each driver provides high output current drive capability, enabling long cable runs. The device includes thermal shutdown protection and features a wide common-mode voltage range. Housed in a 16-pin SOIC (D) package, it operates over 0°C to 70°C. Applications include RS-422 interfaces for industrial automation, motor controllers, telecommunications systems, and data acquisition equipment requiring high-speed, noise-immune data transmission.
