The AM26LS31CN is a quadruple differential line driver from Texas Instruments, designed to meet the requirements of TIA/EIA-422-B and ITU V.11 standards . It operates from a single 5V supply and features complementary outputs, with high-speed performance up to 10 Mbps characterized by a typical propagation delay of 7 ns . Each of the four drivers features 3-state outputs with high-current capability for driving balanced transmission lines such as twisted-pair cables . The device offers a low typical ICC current of 100 µA and has a high output impedance in power-off conditions . Housed in a 16-pin PDIP (N) package, it operates over 0°C to 70°C .
