ATA6562-GAQW1 MICROCHIP Transceivers
The ATA6562-GAQW1 from Microchip is an automotive Grade 0 high-speed CAN FD transceiver with three operating modes: Standby, Normal, and Silent Mode. For selection, it supports communication up to 5 Mbps, features fully ISO 11898‑2, SAE J2962‑2 and ISO 26262 Functional Safety Ready compliance, and operates from 4.5 V to 5.5 V over −40 °C to +125 °C (qualified per AEC‑Q100). The very low standby current and remote wake‑up capability via the CAN bus suit nodes that must remain powered while the vehicle is off. In application, it serves body control modules, engine management ECUs, transmission controllers, ADAS subsystems, and automotive gateway nodes, as well as industrial automation, motor drives, and embedded CAN FD networks where robust differential transmission, low EMI/EMC, and functional safety are critical.
