The ATA663254-GAQW is a fully integrated LIN system basis chip (SBC) from Microchip, combining a LIN transceiver with a 5V/85mA low-dropout voltage regulator and NRES output in an 8-pin SOIC package. For selection, verify supply voltage from 5V to 28V (absolute max 40V), confirm regulator output of 5V±2% with 85mA current capability, note LIN data rate up to 20 kbaud, and ensure operating temperature of -40°C to +150°C (or -40°C to +125°C for specific modes). The device features sleep mode current of 9μA, undervoltage detection with 4ms reset time, TXD dominant timeout, and protection against overtemperature and short circuits. Compliant with LIN 2.0/2.1/2.2/2.2A and SAE J2602-2, it is AEC-Q100 qualified and ISO 26262 FuSa ready.
