BQ24315DSGT TI Battery Management
The BQ24315 is an overvoltage and overcurrent protection IC for Li-Ion battery charging circuits. It operates from 3V to 28V input and features a 30V maximum input tolerance. The device integrates a 1.5A current-limited P-channel MOSFET switch with 250mΩ typical on-resistance. The BQ24315 provides overvoltage protection with adjustable threshold, overcurrent protection with 1.5A typical limit, and battery overvoltage protection. Fault outputs indicate protection conditions. The device includes thermal shutdown and is packaged in 8-pin WSON. Selection is ideal for input protection in portable battery-powered devices. Applications include smartphones, tablets, portable media players, power banks, and any device requiring USB or AC adapter input protection against overvoltage and overcurrent conditions.
