The BQ25176J is a 1-cell linear battery charger operating from 4.5V to 6.5V input (7V maximum) and delivering up to 1A charge current. It features integrated power FET and current-sensing circuitry, with 4.2V battery regulation voltage (JEITA version). The device includes four charging phases: precharge, constant current, constant voltage, and charge termination. Thermal regulation maximizes charge rate without overheating. Built-in protection includes input overvoltage, battery overvoltage, charge safety timer, and thermal shutdown. Packaged in 8-pin WSON (2mm × 2mm).
