BQ25798RQMR TI Battery Chargers
The BQ25798 is an I²C-controlled 1- to 4-cell buck-boost battery charger with dual-input selector and USB PD 3.0 OTG output, supporting up to 5-A charging . It features a 1.2-MHz switching frequency, integrated power path management, and a 3.3-V rail for system power. The device includes input overvoltage protection (OVP), thermal regulation, and safety timers. Packaged in a 36-pin VQFN (RQM) (4.5 mm × 4.5 mm) with PowerPAD, it is ideal for fast charging in portable devices. Applications include smartphones, tablets, power banks, and portable medical devices requiring high-efficiency charging and I²C control.
