BQ25887RGER TI Battery Chargers
The BQ25887 is a 1-cell, 3-A Li-Ion battery charger with power path management and a 1.2-MHz switching frequency, operating from a 3.9-V to 14-V input. It features a 0.5% voltage accuracy, I2C interface for system control, and USB OTG boost mode (5.1 V at 1.5 A). The device includes input overvoltage protection (OVP), thermal regulation, and safety timers. Packaged in a 24-pin VQFN (RGE) (4 mm × 4 mm), it is ideal for fast charging in portable devices. Applications include smartphones, tablets, power banks, and portable medical devices requiring high-efficiency charging and system power management with I2C control.
