BQ27220YZFR TI Battery Management

The BQ27220 is a battery fuel gauge for single-cell Li-Ion and Li-Polymer batteries, operating with a 16-bit integrated data converter. It features Impedance Track™ technology for accurate battery state-of-charge (SOC) reporting, requiring no full learning cycles. The device monitors battery voltage, current, temperature, and reports remaining capacity, state of health, and other parameters via I2C interface. Quiescent current is 0.5 µA typical. Packaged in a 9-pin DSBGA (YFZ), the BQ27220 is designed for space-constrained portable devices. Selection is ideal for accurate battery monitoring in compact battery-powered systems.
