BQ29700DSER TI Battery Management
The BQ29700 is a secondary overvoltage protection IC for single-cell Li-Ion and Li-Polymer battery packs. It monitors the battery voltage and triggers an output when the cell exceeds the programmable protection threshold. The device features high accuracy of ±1% and includes fixed delay timers to prevent false triggering. When an overvoltage condition is detected, the OUT pin activates to drive an external protection circuit, such as a fuse or FETs. The BQ29700 operates from 1.5 V to 5.5 V and consumes 1 μA typical supply current. Packaged in a 6-pin WSON (DSE) (1.5 mm × 1.5 mm), it is ideal for battery pack secondary protection. Applications include single-cell battery packs for wearables, IoT devices, portable medical devices, and consumer electronics. In stock at HL Electronics – request a quote for fast delivery.
