BQ79600PWRQ1 is AEC-Q100 qualified multi-cell battery monitor from Texas Instruments, developed for high-voltage lithium-ion battery packs. It monitors up to 16 series battery cells with ±1 mV typical voltage accuracy, and integrates temperature sensing, overvoltage, undervoltage and overtemperature protection functions. Daisy-chain communication and high-speed SPI interface enable seamless expansion for large battery systems, while built-in cell balancing control optimizes pack performance. It operates at wide voltage range, works from -40 °C to 105 °C, and is packaged in a 24-pin TSSOP. This device is selected for electric vehicle battery packs, hybrid vehicles, grid energy storage systems and industrial high-voltage battery management units requiring precise cell monitoring and protection.
