BTA12-600BWRG ST TRIACs

The BTA12-600BWRG is a 12A Snubberless Triac with logic-level gate drive from STMicroelectronics in TO-220AB insulated package, featuring 600V repetitive peak off-state voltage and 12A RMS on-state current for direct microcontroller interface. For selection, verify gate trigger current of 10mA to 15mA, gate trigger voltage of 1.3V, hold current of 35mA, non-repetitive surge current of 126A (50Hz), internal ceramic pad for voltage insulated mounting (2500V RMS), UL1557 certified, and operating junction temperature from -40°C to +125°C. Features include Snubberless technology eliminating external snubber networks for inductive loads, logic level gate for direct interface with low power drivers such as microcontrollers, and high commutation (3 quadrant) capability.
