The BTA16-600CRG is a 16A Snubberless Triac from STMicroelectronics in TO-220AB insulated package, featuring 600V repetitive peak off-state voltage and high commutation capability (4 quadrant) for inductive loads. For selection, verify gate trigger current for Snubberless versions, non-repetitive surge current capability, clip bonding for low thermal resistance, internal ceramic pad for voltage insulated mounting (2500V RMS), UL1557 certified, and operating junction temperature from -40°C to +125°C.
