CD4014BE TI Shift Registers
The CD4014B is an 8-bit parallel-in/serial-out shift register with complementary outputs, operating from a 3V to 18V supply. It features asynchronous parallel load capability controlled by the parallel/serial control input. The device includes a clock inhibit input and a complementary serial output. Propagation delay is 50ns typical at 10V. Packaged in a 16-pin PDIP (N) for through-hole mounting, it is ideal for input port expansion for microcontrollers. Applications include switch and button reading, data acquisition for multiple sensors, and keyboard encoders requiring parallel-to-serial conversion with wide voltage tolerance.
