CD4017BPWR TI Counters, Dividers
The CD4017B is a 5-stage Johnson decade counter with 10 decoded outputs, operating from 3 V to 18 V supply. The device counts clock pulses (positive-edge triggered) and sequences the 10 outputs, producing one output at a time. It includes a carry-out pin for cascading multiple counters. The device features low static power consumption typical of 40-series CMOS logic. Packaged in a 16-pin TSSOP, it is ideal for high-voltage CMOS systems requiring sequential counting and decoding. Applications include LED chaser circuits, sequential timing controls, frequency division for digital clocks, and switch debouncing in industrial controls and consumer electronics.
