The CD4060B is a 14-stage ripple-carry binary counter/divider with an internal oscillator, operating from 3 V to 18 V supply. It integrates an on-chip oscillator with RC or crystal control, eliminating external oscillator components. The device provides 10 buffered outputs (Q4 to Q14) and a master reset to clear the counter. Typical propagation delay is 29 ns at 10 V. Packaged in a 16-pin TSSOP, it is suited for time-delay generation and frequency division without an external clock source requiring long time intervals. Applications include LED flashers with long timing intervals, frequency synthesizers, real-time clock dividers, and timer circuits for appliances requiring minimal component count.
