CD4078BM96 TI Gates and Inverters

The CD4078B is an 8-input NOR/OR gate with standard CMOS logic operation from 3 V to 18 V supply. It features a single gate that performs the 8-input NOR logic function, with an optional OR output available. The device provides low static power consumption typical of 4000-series CMOS logic and a propagation delay of 50 ns typical at 10 V. Packaged in a 14-pin SOIC, it operates over a –55 °C to 125 °C temperature range. Selection is ideal for wide-input NOR logic functions in high-voltage CMOS systems. Applications include address decoding for microprocessors (detecting a specific address on a wide address bus), interrupt detection, and wide-input gating functions in industrial controls, telecommunications, and consumer electronics.
