CD4504BM96 TI Translators, Level Shifters

The CD4504B is a CMOS hex voltage level shifter designed for TTL-to-CMOS or CMOS-to-CMOS level translation, operating with VDD (output supply) from 5V to 15V and VCC (input supply) from 5V to 15V. The device features six independent level-shifting channels with a select pin allowing TTL or CMOS input signal compatibility. When the select pin is high, inputs are compatible with TTL levels (requiring 1.5V threshold); when low, inputs are compatible with CMOS levels (requiring 50% of VCC threshold). The CD4504B provides hysteresis for improved noise immunity. Selection is ideal for interfacing between different logic families with varying supply voltages in surface-mount designs. Applications include 5V TTL to 15V CMOS translation, mixed-voltage system interfacing, industrial control logic level conversion, and automotive electronics requiring voltage domain translation with wide voltage capability.
