The CD4511B is a BCD-to-7-segment latch/decoder/driver with active-low outputs, operating from 3V to 18V supply. It features latch and blanking functions, with outputs capable of driving common-cathode LED displays directly. The device decodes 4-bit BCD input to 7-segment output, with ripple blanking for leading zero suppression. Output current is 25mA typical. Packaged in 16-pin TSSOP. Selection is ideal for driving 7-segment LED displays in high-voltage CMOS systems. Applications include digital panel meters, digital clocks, instrumentation displays, and consumer electronics requiring BCD to 7-segment conversion with high output drive.
