CD74HC4094M96 TI Shift Registers
The CD74HC4094 is an 8-stage serial shift register with storage latch and 3-state parallel outputs, operating from 2V to 6V supply. Data is shifted on positive clock transitions, and the data in each shift register stage is transferred to the storage register when the strobe input is high. The 3-state outputs are enabled when output-enable is high. Two serial outputs (QS1 and QS2) are available for cascading multiple devices. Selection is ideal for I/O expansion in high-speed CMOS systems requiring serial-to-parallel conversion. Applications include LED matrix drivers, seven-segment display control, digital clocks, and industrial control panels requiring multiple output expansions.
