The DAC8551IADGKR is a 16-bit, single-channel, voltage-output digital-to-analog converter with a 3-wire SPI interface supporting clock rates up to 30 MHz . It operates from a 2.7-V to 5.5-V supply and features a 10-µs settling time, rail-to-rail output amplifier, and ultra-low glitch energy of 0.1 nV-s . The device includes a power-on reset to zero scale and a power-down mode reducing current consumption to 200 nA at 5 V. Packaged in an 8-pin VSSOP (DGK) with an industrial temperature range of –40°C to +105°C, this DAC is ideal for portable instrumentation, process control, closed-loop servo control, and data acquisition systems requiring 16-bit precision .
