The DP83848I is a rugged, low-power, single-port 10/100-Mb/s Ethernet physical layer (PHY) transceiver, compliant with IEEE 802.3u standards and rated for industrial temperature range (-40°C to 85°C). It features auto-negotiation, cable diagnostics (TDX), and supports MII and RMII interfaces. Packaged in a 48-pin LQFP (VV) (7 mm × 7 mm), it is ideal for industrial and extended temperature Ethernet applications. Applications include factory automation (PLCs), building automation, networked sensors, test instruments, and industrial control equipment requiring a reliable Ethernet physical layer interface.
