DRV5012AEDMRR TI Magnetic Sensors - Switches (Solid State)
The DRV5012A is a low-voltage digital Hall effect sensor with omnipolar magnetic response, operating from 1.65V to 5.5V supply. It features ultra-low power consumption of 1.6µA typical (5Hz sampling) and high magnetic sensitivity. The device detects both north and south magnetic poles, simplifying magnet placement in system design. Output is open-drain with built-in hysteresis for noise immunity. Package is X2SON (DMR) with ultra-small footprint. Operating temperature range is -40°C to 85°C. Selection is ideal for battery-powered contactless position sensing requiring ultra-low power consumption. Applications include smart meter tamper detection, cellular phone flip/cover detection, medical device position sensing, consumer appliance door/lid closure detection, and industrial proximity sensing.
