DRV5032FBDBZR TI Magnetic Sensors - Switches (Solid State)
The DRV5032 is a low-power Hall effect switch with omni-polar magnetic response (responds to both north and south poles). It operates from 1.65V to 5.5V and features ultra-low power consumption of 1.6µA typical (5Hz sampling). The FB option features a fast 20Hz sampling rate for higher responsiveness. The device provides an open-drain output and includes a built-in hysteresis of 2mT for noise immunity. Magnetic threshold Bop is ±3.9mT typical. Selection is optimal for battery-powered contactless switching applications. Applications include smart meter tamper detection, cellular phone flip/cover detection, medical device position sensing, consumer appliance door/lid closure detection, and industrial proximity sensing requiring ultra-low power consumption.
