The DS320PR822NJXR is an 8-channel (including four 2×2 crosspoint mux functions), 32-Gbps linear redriver from Texas Instruments designed for PCI Express 5.0, CXL 2.0, UPI 2.0, and other high-speed interfaces. The device provides four 2×2 crosspoint mux functions for flexible lane switching and signal routing, supporting x2, x4, x8, x16, x24 bus widths with one or multiple devices. Key specifications include CTLE boost of 22dB at 16GHz, ultra-low latency of 100 ps, low additive random jitter of 75fs for PRBS data, excellent return loss of -10dB at 16GHz, and low active power of 160mW per channel, requiring no heat sink. The device is protocol-agnostic for seamless support of PCIe link training. Housed in a 64-pin WQFN (NJX) package (5.5mm × 10mm), it operates over -40°C to 85°C.
