The DS560DF410AMNR is a four-channel multi-rate retimer from Texas Instruments featuring integrated signal conditioning and independent channel operation. The device supports both PAM4 and NRZ data rates from 19.6 to 28.9 GBd, making it suitable for CEI-56G, Ethernet (400 GbE), fibre channel, InfiniBand, and CPRI/eCPRI applications. It features a continuously adaptive CTLE, RX FFE, DFE, and a programmable 4-tap TX FFE filter supporting 30+ dB channel loss at 13.28 GHz. An integrated 2×2 crosspoint enables lane switching for PCB routing flexibility, and a gearbox mode supports NRZ-to-PAM4 or PAM4-to-NRZ conversion. Housed in a BGA package, it operates over -40°C to 85°C. Applications include front-port optical modules, backplanes, direct-attach copper cables, and high-speed serial links.
