DS90UB949TRGCTQ1 TI Serializers, Deserializers

The DS90UB949TRGCTQ1 is an automotive-grade (AEC-Q100) FPD-Link III serializer with HDMI input from Texas Instruments, supporting up to 3.4 Gbps forward channel data rate. It serializes HDMI video and audio data into a single FPD-Link III stream over coaxial or STP cable, supporting resolutions up to 1080p at 60 Hz with HDCP content protection. The device features bidirectional control channel for I2C pass-through, audio return channel (ARC), advanced link diagnostics, and integrated Cable Driver for long-reach transmission. It supports up to 60 meters of cable length with adaptive equalization. Housed in a 64-pin VQFN (RGC) package (9mm × 9mm) with PowerPAD, it operates over -40°C to 105°C. Applications include automotive infotainment head units with HDMI output, rear-seat entertainment systems, video distribution modules, and high-resolution video sources.
