The DS90UB953TRHBRQ1 is an automotive-grade (AEC-Q100) 4.16-Gbps FPD-Link III serializer from Texas Instruments designed to support high-speed raw data sensors including 2.3MP imagers at 60fps and 4MP sensors at 30fps . It serializes MIPI CSI-2 data from up to 4 data lanes (832Mbps per lane) into a single serialized stream over 50Ω coaxial or 100Ω STP cable . The device features a D-PHY v1.2 and CSI-2 v1.3 compliant system interface supporting up to four virtual channels, an ultra-low latency bidirectional I2C and GPIO control channel up to 50 Mbps, and Power-over-Coax (PoC) compatibility . It includes advanced data protection and diagnostic features such as CRC data protection, sensor data integrity check, voltage and temperature measurement, and line fault detection . Housed in a 32-pin VQFN (RHB) package (5mm × 5mm) , it operates over -40°C to 105°C . Applications include automotive surround-view cameras, driver monitoring systems, satellite radar/LIDAR sensors, and any high-speed sensor interface requiring compact serializer integration with FPD-Link III compatibility.
