DS90UB983RTDTQ1 TI Serializers, Deserializers

The DS90UB983RTDTQ1 is the tape-and-reel packaging variant of the DS90UB983RTDRQ1 automotive-grade FPD-Link IV serializer from Texas Instruments. The device supports up to 5.3 Gbps forward channel data rate and serializes 24-bit RGB or dual 24-bit RGB video inputs into a single FPD-Link IV serial stream, supporting up to 8K resolutions. It features bidirectional control channel with I2C and SPI pass-through, spread spectrum clock generation for EMI reduction, and advanced link diagnostics. Housed in a 64-pin VQFN (RTD) package (9mm × 9mm), it operates over -40°C to 105°C. Applications include automotive infotainment head units, high-resolution video distribution, autonomous driving video processing hubs, and 4K/8K video sources.
