DS90UB984RURRQ1 TI Serializers, Deserializers

The DS90UB984RURRQ1 is an automotive-grade (AEC-Q100) FPD-Link IV deserializer from Texas Instruments designed for high-resolution automotive video applications up to 5.3 Gbps forward channel data rate. It deserializes a single FPD-Link IV serial stream into 24-bit RGB or dual 24-bit RGB video outputs, supporting up to 8K UHD (7680 × 4320) resolutions. The device features bidirectional control channel with I2C pass-through at up to 1 Mbps, advanced link diagnostics and monitoring, and integrated cable compensation for extended reach. It includes frame synchronization for multi-display applications and supports coordinated multipoint (CMP) clock synchronization. Housed in a 64-pin VQFN (RUR) package (9mm × 9mm), it operates over -40°C to 105°C. Applications include automotive 4K and 8K infotainment systems, high-resolution instrument clusters, head-up displays (HUD), and rear-seat entertainment requiring ultra-high bandwidth video transmission.
