The DS90UB984RURTQ1 is an automotive-grade (AEC-Q100) FPD-Link IV to DisplayPort/eDP bridge deserializer from Texas Instruments . It is VESA DP v1.4a/eDP v1.4b compliant and supports HBR3 link bit rates up to 8.1 Gbps per lane with 1, 2, or 4 main link lanes . The device receives a high-speed serialized interface over low-cost coaxial or STP cables and converts it to DP/eDP output, supporting video resolutions of 4K at 60fps with 30-bit color and higher . The FPD-Link IV interface supports 13.5/12.528/10.8/6.75/3.375 Gbps per channel with up to 27 Gbps over dual channels . It features ultra-low latency control channel with dual fast-mode plus I2C up to 1 MHz, SPI and UART pass-through GPIOs, adaptive receiver equalization, and spread spectrum clock generation . Housed in an 88-pin VQFNP (RUR) package (12mm × 12mm), it operates over -40°C to 105°C .
