DS90UH984RURRQ1 TI Serializers, Deserializers

The DS90UH984RURRQ1 is an automotive-grade (AEC-Q100) FPD-Link IV deserializer from Texas Instruments supporting up to 4.2 Gbps of forward channel data rates, designed for high-resolution automotive display and camera applications. It converts a single serial FPD-Link IV stream into four 24-bit RGB video outputs plus control signals, supporting up to 4K (3840 × 2160) resolutions at 60 Hz. The device features bidirectional control channel supporting I2C and GPIO pass-through, spread spectrum clock generation for EMI reduction, and advanced link diagnostics including CRC, ECC, and BIST. It supports coordinated multipoint (CMP) synchronization for multi-display applications and includes integrated cable compensation for 15 meters of coaxial or STP cable. Housed in a 64-pin VQFN (RUR) package (9mm × 9mm), it operates over -40°C to 105°C. Applications include automotive infotainment systems, digital instrument clusters, head-up displays (HUD), rear-seat entertainment, and surround-view camera systems requiring high-resolution video transmission over long cables.
