The DS90UR908QSQE/NOPB is an automotive-grade (AEC-Q100) FPD-Link II deserializer from Texas Instruments designed for display applications . The device converts a single FPD-Link II serial stream back into 24-bit RGB or OpenLDI (LVDS) video outputs, supporting pixel clock rates from 5 MHz to 65 MHz for resolutions up to 720p at 60 Hz . It operates from a single 3.3V supply and features a bidirectional control channel for I2C pass-through at up to 400 kHz . The device includes spread spectrum clock generation support for EMI reduction and integrated cable diagnostics for link monitoring . It supports coaxial or STP cable transmission with adaptive equalization compensating for cable losses . Housed in a 48-pin WQFN (QSQ) package (7mm × 7mm) , it operates over -40°C to 105°C . Applications include automotive infotainment displays, digital instrument clusters, rear-seat entertainment systems, and any FPD-Link II display application requiring high-reliability deserialization.
