The HVLED001ATR is an enhanced peak current mode controller from STMicroelectronics in SSOP-10 package, designed for high power factor (HPF) flyback or buck-boost topologies in LED drivers up to 150W. For selection, verify the wide input voltage range suitable for offline applications, confirm the ability to support buck, boost, and SEPIC topologies, note the built-in 800V high-voltage startup circuit for direct connection to the input voltage, low startup and quiescent current for energy-efficient operation, quasi-resonant (QR) operation for low EMI, and operating temperature from -40°C to +125°C. Features include optimized output voltage accuracy at any load (PSR mode), direct optocoupler connection for current loop regulation with feedback disconnection detection, integrated input voltage detection for high power factor and protection triggering, programmable minimum off-time, smart auto-reload timer (ART) for latch-free operation, and compatibility with 0-10V and PWM dimming.
