The INA238 is a 16-bit digital current, voltage, and power monitor with I2C/SMBus-compatible interface, operating from a 2.7V to 5.5V supply. It monitors common-mode voltage from –0.3V to +85V, independent of supply, with low input offset (5µV max) and 0.1% gain error. The device reports current, bus voltage, and power with configurable averaging options and alert limits for overcurrent detection. Packaged in a 10-pin VSSOP (DGS) (3mm × 3mm), it is ideal for high-accuracy power monitoring in automotive battery management systems (BMS), power distribution, and industrial systems requiring 85V common-mode capability.
