The INA381A2 is a current-sense comparator with integrated reference, gain of 50 V/V (A2 option), and open-drain alert output . It operates from 2.7 V to 5.5 V supply and features a wide common-mode voltage range of –0.2 V to 26 V, independent of supply voltage. The device provides 200-µV typical offset voltage, 1% gain error, and 6-µA supply current . The integrated comparator with 0.6-V internal reference eliminates external components. Selection is ideal for overcurrent detection and monitoring in battery-powered systems. Applications include battery management systems (BMS), motor overcurrent protection, load switching, power supplies, and fault detection in portable instruments requiring minimal board space.
