The ISO1042 is a galvanically-isolated CAN transceiver with reinforced isolation rated at 5000 V_RMS per UL 1577. It operates from 1.71 V to 5.5 V on the logic side and 4.5 V to 5.5 V on the bus side, supporting data rates up to 5 Mbps (CAN FD). The device features a wide common-mode range, low-power standby mode with remote wake-up capability, and ±15-kV ESD protection on bus pins. A high CMTI of 100 kV/μs ensures robust operation in noisy environments. Packaged in a 16-pin SOIC, this transceiver is ideal for industrial CAN FD networks requiring galvanic isolation.
