The ISO1044B is a galvanically-isolated controller area network (CAN) transceiver with basic isolation, providing up to 3000VRMS withstand voltage per UL 1577. It operates with a logic supply from 1.71V to 5.5V and a bus supply from 4.5V to 5.5V, supporting data rates up to 5 Mbps. The device features a high common-mode transient immunity (CMTI) of 85kV/µs minimum, a wide bus fault voltage range of ±58V, and a common-mode range of ±12V . Packaged in an 8-pin SOIC , the ISO1044B is suitable for noise-sensitive industrial and automotive systems requiring galvanic isolation. Applications include factory automation (PLCs), battery management systems, motor drives, and electric vehicle charging stations where ground-loop interruption is required.
