The ISO1452BDWR is a galvanically-isolated RS-485 transceiver from Texas Instruments featuring high-voltage isolation of 5000 Vrms (reinforced). It is compliant with the TIA/EIA-485-A standard and supports data rates up to 50 Mbps. The device features a wide common-mode voltage range, differential signal transmission, thermal shutdown protection, and a low-power standby mode. The device provides reinforced isolation certified to UL1577 and VDE standards. Housed in a 16-pin SOIC Wide (DW) package, it operates over -40°C to 125°C. Applications include industrial automation, motor control, building automation, telecommunications equipment, and any system requiring RS-485 data transmission with reinforced galvanic isolation.
