The ISO7221C is a dual-channel digital isolator providing basic isolation rated at 2500 VRMS per UL 1577. It features one forward channel and one reverse channel (1-1 configuration) with data rates up to 25 Mbps, low propagation delay of 42 ns typical, and high electromagnetic immunity. Packaged in an 8-pin SOIC (D), it is ideal for breaking ground loops in industrial interfaces. Applications include industrial fieldbus isolation (Profibus, CAN, RS-485), motor drive isolation, medical systems, and isolated SPI interfaces.
