ISO7742DWR TI Digital Isolators

The ISO7742 is a high-performance quad-channel digital isolator providing reinforced isolation rated at 5000 V_RMS per UL 1577. It features two forward channels and two reverse channels (2-2 configuration), supporting data rates up to 100 Mbps. The device operates from 2.25 V to 5.5 V on both sides, offering low propagation delay of 11 ns (typical) and high electromagnetic immunity. Default output is high when input power is off. Packaged in a 16-pin SOIC (DWR), it is critical for breaking ground loops and providing galvanic isolation in industrial interfaces. Applications include industrial fieldbus isolation (Profibus, CAN, RS-485), motor drive isolation, medical systems, and isolated SPI interfaces requiring high data rate.
