ISOW1044BDFMR TI Drivers, Receivers, Transceivers
The ISOW1044BDFMR is a galvanically-isolated CAN FD transceiver from Texas Instruments with an integrated low-emissions, low-noise DC-DC converter, eliminating the need for a separate isolated power supply in space-constrained designs. It meets ISO 11898-2:2016 physical layer standards and supports classical CAN at 1 Mbps and CAN FD at 2 and 5 Mbps. The integrated DC-DC converter meets CISPR 32 and EN 55032 Class B radiated emissions standards with greater than 6 dB margin on a two-layer PCB and provides up to 20 mA of additional output current. Key features include ±58-V CAN bus fault protection, ±12-V receiver common-mode input voltage, remote wake-up capability via the bus, typical loop delay of 167 ns, and high CMTI of 100 kV/µs. Housed in a 20-pin SOIC (DFM) package, it operates over -40°C to 125°C. Applications include industrial automation, automotive CAN FD networks requiring galvanic isolation, grid infrastructure, medical equipment, and any isolated CAN system requiring an integrated power supply with low EMI emissions.
