The L293DD013TR is a monolithic integrated high-voltage, high-current quad-channel push-pull driver from STMicroelectronics in SOIC-20 package, designed to accept standard DTL or TTL logic levels and drive inductive loads such as relays, solenoids, DC and stepper motors . For selection, verify supply voltage from 4.5V to 36V for motor power (VS), separate logic supply (VSS) from 4.5V to 7V, confirm output current capability of 600mA continuous (1.2A peak non-repetitive) per channel, typical switching frequency up to 5kHz, internal clamp diodes for inductive transient protection, and operating junction temperature from -40°C to +150°C . Features include enable inputs for each pair of channels simplifying use as two H-bridges, high noise immunity with logic "0" input voltage up to 1.5V, and thermal protection.
