L5973ADTR ST DC-DC Converters

The L5973ADTR is a 2.5A step-down monolithic power switching regulator from STMicroelectronics in SO-8 package, operating at 250kHz fixed switching frequency with input up to 36V. For selection, verify input voltage from 4.4V to 36V, adjustable output from 1.235V to VIN, 2.5A continuous output current, internal power switch with low RDS(on), and operating temperature from -40°C to +150°C. Features include internal compensation for simplified design, soft-start to limit inrush current, current limiting and thermal shutdown for protection, and inhibit pin for power sequencing. Ideal for 12V/24V distributed power systems, industrial automation, battery-powered equipment, consumer electronics, and any step-down DC-DC conversion requiring up to 2.5A output in compact SO-8 package.
