The L6562DTR is a transition-mode (borderline) Power Factor Correction (PFC) controller in an 8-pin SOIC package. For selection, verify supply from 10.3V to 22V, 600mA totem pole gate driver, low start-up current of 70µA, and -25°C to +125°C operation. Features include dynamic OVP, feedback disconnect protection, and THD optimizer for low distortion. Ideal for power supplies with PFC, electronic ballasts, AC-DC adapters above 65W, and LED drivers requiring near-unity power factor compliance with EN61000-3-2.
