The LF50CPT-TR is a very low-dropout voltage regulator from STMicroelectronics in PPAK (TO-252) surface-mount package, providing fixed 5.0V output with up to 500mA current capability. For selection, verify input voltage from 5.3V to 16V, typical dropout voltage for low power loss, quiescent current of 100µA, output tolerance, output noise of 50µV, line and load regulation of 10mV, supply voltage rejection of 80dB typical, and operating temperature from -40°C to +125°C. Features include logic-controlled electronic shutdown (inhibit), internal current and thermal limit, stability with 2.2µF capacitor.
